
Guided tours for school-aged childrenOur guided tours provide a general overview of Bergstrom-Mahler Museum and explain how glass and paperweights are made as well as introduce students to our glass collections and the temporary glass exhibition. We create tours appropriate for all age-levels.
Adventures in Glass: Art, Science & More K-6th grades Take a journey through the world of the paperweight and the temporary exhibit. Tour guides will help you form meaningful connections with works of art by helping you to look carefully, think critically and pay attention to what you feel. These tours last approximately 1½ hours.
Custom tour recommended for middle school and high school Temporary exhibit focused tour with interactive writing and drawing activities. Paperweight tours can also be given. Adult Tours
Guided tours need to be arranged at least two weeks in advance of your visit. The cost for a guided tour is $5 per person with a minimum of ten people. Please call 920.751.4658 to arrange your guided tour.
Tour Options For groups of 10-25 people
- a guided walking tour through our collections or
- a tour guide will introduce our collections to your group and then will be available to answer questions in the galleries
For groups of more than 25 people - A Powerpoint presentation introducing our collections can be arranged to introduce and provide background information about our glass. The presentation will last between 15 and 20 minutes.

Self-Guided Tours Teachers, students and groups are welcome to independently explore the museum's collections and special exhibitions. We encourage teachers to visit the museum prior to their student group visit, as galleries and the artwork on view change throughout the year. Download a tour brochure here.
